Hello, We are the O'Dell's
Welcome to the family! My husband, Devon, and I got married in 2012 on New Year's Eve after only being together for nine months. I was six months pregnant with our oldest son. The first five years of our marriage was a challenge, we went through many ups and downs and life changing events. Finally in 2018 we resorted to couples therapy, it honestly changed our entire relationship. It's not perfect, we still see a couples therapist and we still have our ups and downs but it is so much healthier than a few years ago.
We have 4 amazing little boys together. Chayse is the oldest, followed by Jude, Axel and Grayson. In-between Chayse and Jude is Mckinzie. She is my husbands daughter, after Chayse was born we had very hard times and Devon just wasn't ready to be a father and husband. He stepped out of the marriage and ended up having a baby with someone else. From 2017-2019 we had Mckinzie, unfortunately it did not work out the way we planned and we no longer have her.
Devon and I are very different people and we sometimes laugh at how different we actually are and how we even make it work. I am adventurous and outdoorsy. I love to be active and holistic and have a need to travel the world. Devon however, is not. He doesn't like people much, he plays video games and would be happy to work and come home and not do anything else really. Over the years he has become much more open to my crazy adventures and outings. He recently decided to go to college. I am about a year away from graduating with an Associates of Art in Nursing Intent and being able to go to Nursing School. I am also about two years away from graduating with Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education as well.
While we are so different Devon and I do have a few things we love to do together. We love crafting, we have made so many things for our house, shirts, decals. Vinyl and Card stock is where we meet eye to eye. We are also both great at cooking and love to do that together. My grandmother always told us we should open a catering company because of how well we work together with our imaginations.

Hello, my name is Satava (Suh-Tay-Vuh). Yes my name is very unique I often get asked what nationality it is. To be honest I have no idea it was kind of made up. I am somewhere in my 20's I feel like the actual number is no longer important as to many people stereotype ages now. I have been a mother for 7 years, I have been a teen mom, single mom, married, and step mom. I also have major depressive disorder, severe anxiety, and PTSD. I work part time and go to school part time. I love crafting with my cricut, doing puzzles, my happy planner, hiking, setting goals, and learning about myself!

My husband Devon is my rock. While we have not had the easiest marriage it has absolutely made us stronger. We are a great team. We are also stubborn and are our worst enemies at times. Devon has always been the bread winner. He loves working and he works hard. He is a great dad to our boys , he loves video games and skateboarding. He's also a great handyman and cook!

He is the oldest. He taught me how to be a mother and what unconditional love means. When I was pregnant with him I was in a roll over car accident causing me to be hospitalized and a high risk pregnancy. He was premature and has seen a lot of doctors because of it. We are finally to a point where he is caught up to his peers. He absolutely loves science and math. He is starting to show interest in Football, Soccer and Wrestling. He loves being a big brother although he wishes I would give him two baby sisters he still enjoys his brothers. He likes to play with Legos, video games and wants to learn new languages and anything else his little mind can think of.
He comes next in line 2 years and 5 months later and let me tell you he absolutely fits the second child aspect of things. Him and Chayse are complete opposites in just about every way possible from their looks to their personality. Jude prefers the rough and tough lifestyle. He is as boy as they come. I'm pretty sure his knees are permanently dirty. He loves to be outside and any sport or activity he can get his hands on. He enjoys Legos but mostly just the people, video games, he also likes to take apart things to figure out how they work. He likes his baby brothers but not a huge fan of them crying or taking his toys. He is a mama's boy and loves to cuddle on his downtown.
Meet the life of the party. Axel is unlike his brothers, he thinks that the world only revolves around him. He was an accidental home birth, he was born in the bathtub and Devon caught him. All of the kids were there when he was born. It was an amazing experience to have. He is advanced and gets bored easily because of it. He's also the kid that needs to wear his favorite long kitty socks, a batman mask, rain-boots, and a Pickachu backpack and tell everyone his name is Spider-man everywhere he goes. He's a things kid like his mama but has an unfulfilled hunger like his dad. He is slightly obsessed with his baby brother and is very protective of him and always has to be in his face reminding him that he loves him.
Grayson is the final chapter of this story. He was born at home on the bathroom floor after only an hour and 20 minutes in labor. Chayse and Axel were there when he was born, While Jude slept through the whole thing. He completes our home and family. While he is still an infant he seems to be the most calm out of them all. Hes my wallflower. We are still getting to know his personality but its very fun to watch him grow into his own little person. He is a daddy's boy to the extreme.
